sorry, i forgot to write all this time. just...there's just so much going on. so, school started on thursday and it is GREAT! It's almost like m.s. 67, only it's in manhattan, there are older kids, you can eat out for class, and we have lockers. i don;t know anyone in my class, since all of us are separated (except gina and carolyn). i have sorta made friends, but not really. we all know each others name at least.
i have also met some 8th grade kids at the hunter picnic, i've been talking to them over the summer, and now i hang out with them sometimes. it's really good because they can show you around.
eating out is awesome too. you can eat anything you want, pizza, sandwiches, soup, salad, anything, instead of that crappy lunch food. IT IS AWESOME!!! (you should be here)
the schedule is good too, because it's like college. there are free periods, basically breaks where you can do anything. it's helpful to do forgotten homework, or study, but kind of boring if you have nothing to do. they're still good because you can always go out and get some fresh air.
all the teachers are really nice right now, and i hope they stay that way. we don't have much hw yet, but i KNOW we will have more. it's ok now, in fact, it's only a little!!!

jamaica, mon (continued)
well, i'm still in beautiful jamaica! i moved to another hotel, and the rooms are HUGE, and i mean it!!!! the hotel consists of only *suites*, and i'm in a 2 bedroom suite. it's two floors, and almost the size of my house! (it might even be bigger!!) we got here right after a big hurricane (but it didnt really hit us. it was supposed to hit us directly, category 4, but it passed us, so there waS just little wind and rain. (the hurricane was hurricane dean. it hit kingston pretty hard, which is on the south, but not much in montego bay, where i am, in the north. it may seem kinda strange, but i was kinda excited for the hurricane. i could actually experience, first hand, a hurricane. i was kinda sad that it didnt hit us hard, but i'm still thankful that there wasn't much damage.) yay! i'm still ok! (sorry to all the people who are disappointed) ...wait, can i do that? a parenthesis within a parentheses?) anyways, the first day we got to the new hotel, there was no electric and it was really hot. it was still nice. (now the electric is back to its alright.)
just yesterday we went on a tour. we to a trip to a city called ocho rios (eight rivers). we went to a river there. we got to actually *climb* a waterfall. and it WAS as hard as it sounds ^^;;... the rocks were kinda slippery, but i made it to the top, TWICE! my parents were too scared (and weak) to climb, so i had to do most of it myself. but i'm ok! yayyyyy!
i'll be back MONDAY, sorry for the mistake. i REALLY want to go shopping for school supplies, and hopefully i will do that soon.
er...i was gonna say somthing else...what was it??? i forgot! uh... OH YEAH! HARRY POTTER! i finished the 2nd one, and now am up to the 3rd. i'm almost done. i like it the best, but now i'm scared of seeing the grim at night...^^;; hehe, i magically see outlines of black shaggy dogs in the dark...i'll get over it! (:

i'm in jamaica right now, and it's GORGEOUS...lol. it is really nice though.
the travel to come here was really bad. first of all, it was delayed. not a half an hour, like 5 FRICKIN HOURS!!! I MEAN COME ON!!! also, the plane was really cheap, you had to BUY your own snacks. most airlines just give them to you, but nooo... also, they didn't have tv's in the back of every seat. it may not be be very weird to you, but i'm used to having those. (i travel a lot) (: i wont mention the name of it, but i dont want to go with them again.
ANYWAYS, now i'm in a really nice hotel, right next to the beach. the rooms are okay, but it has a good view, so it's okay. it has a nice *infinity* pool. that just means one edge that's really low, so its like its filling into the ocean. it's cool. the entire hotel is all-inclusive, which means you pay one price, and all the food, drinks, etc. are included. it feels AWESOME cuz its like your getting all this for free. i just came back from another hotel last night, we had to stay there because my mom couldnt book here for yesterday. that one was iight. then, on sunday we're moving to another hotel, which i suppose is really nice too. you might be thinking, "why keep on moving, just stay in one!!!" but we would like to see a lot of hotels, and if you stay in one for two weeks, it might get a little to repetitive. i'll be back on sunday, august 27, so don't miss me! (probably no souveniers either, sorry >.<)

i'm on my new laptop!
well, my new laptop arrived! i'm on it now! it's an espresso brown, 15.4 inch 1520 dell inspiron. it is so cool! it's windows vista, too. it's a little different then to what i'm used to, but i still like it! i wanted this computer because it comes in 8 different colors. the inside is silver, but the outside is all different. let's see...there's espresso brown, flamingo pink, midnight blue, sunshine yellow, ruby red, jet black, alpine white and spring green. i got the brown one because it's original, and because i like brown. i also ordered a matching brown mouse and carrying case, and they should arrive soon. the only REAL reason why i got it is beacuse i will need it for my new apartment in the city. but it is still "mine" and i'm so excited about it!

hi! sorry for not posting in a while, but nothing really exciting is happening in my life. we are planning a trip to jones beach, this saturday. it would be great if you came! it's this saturday, at 11 am to 4. if you didn't get an email from neha, just ask me and i'll forward.
oh yeah! i ordered my laptop on sunday, and it should come soon. it said 3-5 days, so it should arrive between tomorrow and friday. I AM SO EXCITED! MY OWN LAPTOP! *sigh*

well...i'm back now...i actually got back like fiday <_< but yeah. thats it about that...

hola from the dr! -_- not doctor... dominican republic!!! it is really nice here. hot, sticky, it's greeeeaaaattt!!! i mostly just stay in the resort (ocean blue to be exact) i swim, eat, relax, sleep. that is basically what i do the whole day. lol...sounds like fun!
these are the DIFFERENT things i did:
on tuesday i went on this island hopping tour. we got on a bus, drove around to a city, and got to this port thing. we got on a speed boat, and rode to tohe middle of the caribbean sea (not really) there was a "natural swimming pool" there. it is in the middle of the sea, the water being a couple of feet deep. normally, the middle of the ocean/sea is deep, but this is wierd...a good wierd. then we went to an island. we basically just swam there. there was a buffet there, and we ate. oh yeah, the food at the resort is good too. the sand is nice and powdery. i liked the sand ^_^ then we just went back, and went to this souveneir shop, but i got nothing. (sorry guys)we got back, pretty late and i was exausted.
and today we went bowling. it wasnt that great, just one game. we only played because we got a free game coupon. guess what the bowling alley was...STRIKE! yes, like the one in new york, but it was nice. i think the one at new york was nicer, but it was still ok there too. there is a game room on top of it, that has pool tables, fooseball tables, air hockey, ping pong, all that stuff. it was nice, but i think i like the other one better. enh =\
that's basically it. the pools are nice. i go there almost every day. there are 2 pools, both of them are nice. i like the smaller one because less people are there, etc. the beaches are nice too. nice and clean...and warm. *sigh* i'm gonna miss it here.
in case you missed me, i'll be back tomorrow night. so...wait 'till then, k?
